CARIA. Trapezopolis. Sabina, Augusta, 128-136/7. Hemiassarion (Orichalcum, 19 mm, 4.66 g, 6 h), Ti. Fla. Max. Lysias, magistrate. CABЄINA CЄBAC[TH] Draped bust of Sabina to right, wearing stephane. Rev. ΔΙΑ Τ ΦΛ ΜΑΞ ΛΥСΙΟΥ ΤΡΑ[ΠΕΖΟΠ]/ΟΛΙΤΩΝ Mên standing front, head to left, wearing Phrygian cap and with crescent behind shoulders, holding pine cone in his right hand and long scepter in his left. Naumann 58 (2017), 357 (same obverse die). RPC III -. Unpublished except for the Naumann piece and hence the second and best known example. Somewhat smoothed and the obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
